Diabetes and prediabetic condition
The difference is in the overall approach to diet and physical activity. The old-fashioned approach to diabetes recommended lowering sugar intake, counting calories and bread units, limited portions and calorie restrictions. Fortunately, there is a new approach. A predominantly plant-based, low-fat diet is ideal for diabetics. In fact, in a 2006 scientific study, Dr. Barnard demonstrated that this approach works better than the diet recommended by the American Diabetes Association.
What can patients expect?
Within a few weeks of following this approach, the need for medication decreases, and in patients at an earlier stage of the disease – the need for medication is completely lost.
If the quarterly average does not improve, the funds are returned.
The reason for this is because this approach cures the CAUSES, not the consequences of diabetes!
If for any condition it is worth changing the diet to see results – then that condition is diabetes! – Dr. Ksenija Bogoeva Kostovska
